This is a lovely photo of one of our members, Maureen , who deceided to be a model for this beautiful felted hat.
Our guest speaker for March was Karen Workman, a felting artist, who kept us very entertained.
First up was a cot quilt made by Rosie N. Note the little cloth book she is holding, she made that as well.
Madeline looked up a web site called Co's Bend, I think, which is all about making quilts out of what you have on hand. She has made a lap quilt, the colours all go together very well.
Maureen M had a lovely stash of rustic coloured batiks and made a beautiful bed quilt with them.
Maureen L has made a quilt for a new Grandson who lives in Australia. Love the border print she has used, it goes with the verse, "What Little Boys Are Made Of".
Diana has completed her Satin & Lace wall hanging. Looks lovely.
Betty B. showed us her interpretation of Peter Pan from Never Never Land.
Veronica showed us her needle case, inspired by Sue Spargo, using her beautiful cottons and stitches.
This one is by Judy P.
Lesley spent time in the school holidays with her Grandaughter helping her make a Minyan Doll.
