show and tell April

Hi everyone, this is Judy Potts attempting to make my very first blog post.
Here is the Show n Tell from the April Meeting.

4 Ladies showing their morning's work.
Alison used our cutting machine for the circles on these placemats. 

Alison's beautifully hand-appliqued blocks.
Amy H has been knitting up a storm with these lovely baby outfits

 
 Betty was playing with fabric and created this stunning landscape

Carey finally finished this lovely bright quilt.
 Carol has made this cool wallet with the elastic wrapper
Doreen's cushion cover.

Lynn made this to be raffled for the Disabled Games.
Madeline's bed quilt is still to be finished.

Pauline bought this on a recent trip to India.
 Rosie G makes cool quilts from the Canteen bandanas and is looking out for more. If anyone has some to donate Rosie would be very grateful. She gives the quilts back to Canteen. Here are two of her recent finishes

Vanda showed us a sample of the quilts they are making for Top Kids Kindy. Well done 
 This is Ruth's Carrie Hall Sampler finished top. It is completely hand pieced and she is going to hand quilt it in her floor frame. You are a star, Ruth!

 Rosalie made a family crest wallhanging
 Sue E won the Novice prize with this very clever use of the challenge fabric and also was joint winner of the Viewer's Choice
Veronica won the challenge with her entry (ed. note. We haven't got a photo yet but watch this space!
I now have a photo of Veronica's winning entry. A well deserved win.
