October show n tell

Tree of Life by Jenny. Started in 2019 as a block of  the month from Foxs cottage.Foxton and finished this year during lockdown.




Pansies by Judy. Made foe herself and has taken many years, one of  her UFO's from the cupboard.

Cuppa by Judy. A Sue Spargo pattern stitched on linen By the end of stitching she was more confident in the stitches, was very enjoyable and will hang on her wall



Christmas tree skirt by Judy, she saw this at a Melbourne quilt show a few years ago, made a few changes with it.She made it for her daughter.



Dolly and Me by Judy. Bought a pettern as a block of the month quite a few years ago,thought she had better get on with it as her granddaughter is now 5 and will want it on her bed when she stays with Granny.
 

August show n tell

A Touch of Gold .by Heather and Quilted by Helen. She made this to use up some of her 5in squares that all had gold in the fabric.She paired them up to m ake 4 patches, a good way to use half square triangles.

Double Pinwheel by Frances. This quilt is from an Eleanor Burns pattern made in 2005, She used the same pattern on some 1930's fabrics which is now 2 knee rugs for the wheelchair donation.

Tone down sampler by Jenny. Project design by Sue Spargo. 90 day challenge - one circle a day to stitch during Covid-19 lockdown. A group of ladies completed this together via messanger with lots of laughter and banter.
