A piece of redwork by Carol B.
Carol B. bought the pattern for the scissor keeper on trade me and when she had made it decided it was too big and she needed a smaller one, so she shrunk the pattern and made it again.
Following a class with Sheila Christensen, from Quilter's Lane, Carol made table centres for her nieces & Nephews for Christmas. Each one will be different. 2 made and 2 to go.
This table runner is by Heather McL. It was supposed to be a 5 row BOM but the background supplied was so dark & depressing that she ended up hating it. She unpicked the blocks and re-joined them into a table runner.
Heather has called this table runner "Its starting to look like Christmas" She made it for herself as she did not have a table runner long enough for her table.
Spinning Geese by Judith A. She had 1 month to make it as a birthday gift for her cousin's 60th.
Hester made these Penny Rugs C1880's when she recently attended the Birmingham Festival of Quilts Seminar. she told us that she had never really worked with felt before. A very good effort.
"Mickey Mania" by Barbara C. She made this for her niece to record her trip to Disneyland. I did not take the photos this month, so am not sure if this is the back or front.!!
The other side of Mickey Mania.
Another by Barbara. This one is called "Ladder of Life" and is made for another niece who is not very well at the moment and she hopes this quilt will lift her spirits.
"Sweet Dreams" another by Barbara. This one is for her #3 Great Grandchild due some time soon in Australia.
Karen C. attended the Triangles class by Sheila Christensen of Quilters Lane. Lovely colours.
