Two Corners and Part of a Border

We have now finished two of the four corner blocks and are trying out the flower arrangement on one of the side borders. We need more of the flowers to be prepared before we can finalize the placement, and the leaves and berries need to be added, but progress is being made!

Oh, looking good! I'll be watching progress with great interest while I'm away. Well done you two!

Hi, sorry to post something unrelated, but I followed Janice from her posts on someone's houseblogs and found this site.

I'm posting because my mother is an avid (obsessive?) and very talented quilter (not that I'm biased!) and she has been trying to find an email "pen pal" who is a quilter from somewhere outside of the United States. She comes from many generations of Appalachian (way back hill country) quilters, but is infusing tradition with her own sense of style, design and color.

If anyone is interested in regular correspondance with an American quilter, please email me at tanama44 which is at aol dot com, and I'll send her your email address!

And just to brag a bit, if you get McCall's quilting magazine there, she has a quilt that will be featured in their October issue!
