Show & Tell December 1st 2012

christmas meeting 2012 



December meeting starts with  member Audrey being given a life time membership award.





Phillipa shows us a crazy patch needle keeper in batiks made by her friend in Canada.


Phillipa's sister in law made this table runner.


Phillipa was also the winner of this beautiful quilt made by
 the Rose city quilters & Quilted by
 Diane Southey.

Doreen made this very cute wall hanging called stitch bird 
 from a club book.


A proud  Geogia stands next to her butterfly & fairy quilt
 made by Frances for her birthday.



                               Maureen made this quilt for her one year old grandson.


Maureens ten year old grandson gets a  kiwiana  quilt 
polar fleece with gumboots cover the back of the quilt.

Veronica also made this rugby quilt for her son, in Wanganui colours.

 this was started in October, great work so far.

Lesley has this christmas wall hanging ready to go 
 with a special touch of bells from mexico.


Kath  has this table runner made from a cloth shop pattern.


Carey has been busy with personalised quilts for christmas for Adrian a rugby fan.

awaiting borders to finish.


Lyn  made this blue light house quilt for her Grandson.

Jenny  started this quilt in 2008 called a fire within in  blue batiks
a Barbara Bilyard pattern.



Helen has been busy working on her new  longarm machine
and here  is a great community quilt.

2013  club Challenge from Wanganui home sewing centre, the  larger piece is the challenge fabric,
 also showing extra fabrics available in this range.
