July 2015 Show n Tell

 
This is the final lot of bed runners that our club has made for the Cancer Ward in Palmerston North.

 
We had a workshop in June, run by Jacqui Karl, called "Doodle Feather"
it was a fun class
 

 
Here are some close up photos that were taken by Jacqui of everyones work in progress.
We used Spaghetti thread for the outline, then painted and free motioned the leaves.
 
 
Donna B has made this cot quilt for a new Grandson. The buttons are made with felt.

 
Lorraine has made this beautiful pink French quilt for her Granddaughter.


 
Bep made this lovely blue quilt out of a jelly roll.
 

 
Lidy has made a bag using up her squares.
 
 
This star quilt was made by Judy A.
 
 
Judy A has many talents, she also made this beautiful tatting.

 
This is what you do with a wall quilt that you are not happy with. You turn your piece of art into a bag. This was made by Maureen M.
 
 
Veronica D made this small wall hanging using felt and beautiful stitches.

Judy P. made this wall hanging, using felt and wool felt. It is a pattern by Wendy Williams.
Felt and wool are a very popular medium at the moment.
