May show n tell

 John Nielsen introduced himself to our club, he has just moved to Wanganui and has a quilting business called Quiltfairies by The River, he showed  us some of his quilts.









 Microscopic Monsters by Frances,made for quilt symposium Palm. North 2015.She used the clubs go.cutter to make the winding ways blocks. It was her own design for the monsters.  


 Summer Vines by Frances, a design by Peggy Waltman,she made it smaller than the original
quilt,needleturn applique and hand-quilted


 Moda French General Sampler by  Frances. Made quilt as you go, hand quilted.A cloth Shop sampler started Dec.2010,Finished Nov.2016


 People by Lesley. She wanted to try applique.It must of turned her off applique as she hasn't done much since.Quilt started 2002 finished 2004.


 Merging Seasons My Way by Maureen. Drawing on a grid to form the seasons, no pattern involved.


 Focus on the Future One Step at a Time by Maureen. A play with strip piecing.


 A Trellis in the Garden by Judy. Made for her own bed. She loved the shading of the colours and placement create the trellis pattern,she used many favourite scrappy pieces of fabric



 Bag made by Rosie. Bought bag at Melbourne show 2 years ago and did the felting with Jenny


 Kids by Rosie. First quilt she made, quilted in Taupo. A kit from Grandmothers Garden


 Kids by Rosie. To put inn stash for give away or selling



Kids Quilt by Rosie, made for a neighbours new Great Grandy.

 Golly Gosh by Trish. The fabric was gifted to her by a friend, so she had to make a quilt for expected grand-daughter.


Four  patch Fun by Trish, for a friends expected Great Grandchild.
