September Show n Tell

This wonderful quilt was made by Helen P. and she has named it "Chocolate Caramel". It is from Bonnie Hunter's Chilhowie Mystery Quilt.

Another beautiful Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt, This one is by Frances and was quilted by Helen P.

A smaller version of the 2022 Bonnie Hunter Quilt and was made by Carol Burgess.

This lovely quilt is by Donna and she has named it "Wedding Anniversary" and it is a Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt which is for her Son and Daughter in law's 10th Anniversary

Another Bonnie Hunter Quilt, not too sure who made it but lovely colours.

Maureen is the maker of this stunning Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt.

and the final one from this group is by Jenny Harris.  Amazing quilters we have in our club and different colour ways make them unique.

"Rainbow Quilt" by Frances and started as a mystery quilt by Laundry Basket Quilts.

And just as lovely as the front, this is the back..

Maureen made these table runners for her daughter.


Scrappy Cross and was made by Helen P. A beautiful scrappy quilt.
 
 
 
"Triple Treat" by Helen P and was from Bonnie Hunter's Leader & Ender challenge 2022.

Spider Flower by Diane Harries.  A free motion machine embroidery collage with Kathryn Hamer - Fox, 3 day class at Foxes Cottage.

Scrappy, by one of our newer members Anne Lovell.
And another by Anne Lovell, called Hard Working.

Toes in the Sand, by Judy Young and was a BOM through Foxes Cottage and has been quilted by Helen P.

A Bag made by Maria Newell.

This colourful quilt is by Annette Bourne and she has called it "Welcome to Craig's World"  This quilt is for her quiet son. He watches, takes everything in but speaks only when necessary. A man of few words.  It was quilted by Lesley O'Rourke of Quarry burn Quilting, Napier.


This is a community quilt, top by Madeline, quilting by Maria and binding by Frances.
 
We were also asked to bring along any other craft work and these socks were knitted by Carol Burgess and was the first pair knitted from the toe up.

This colourful craft is by Hester and is hot fusing, made in a microwave, amazing.


St.Nicholas by Judy Young.  Made in a class many years ago and comes out every Christmas, lovely crazy patchwork on the cloak.
 
"Still Life with Lenion" by Diane Harries. 

Teddy Bears by Jenny Harris and were made as gifts.

Free Style canvas work, a thread catcher by Diane Harries, made in a class in Taupo with Andrea Old.

A Tote bag with purse, made by Diane Harries with fabric purchased in Japan and was made at a day workshop at Foxes cottage.

The Davidson family Crest. Made by Diane Harries for her son in Law and Daughter, Hand woven tartan and the crest is hand stitched.  Framed by Royce Johnson.
