September Show n Tell

Well we did not have a show n tell for August as our club had a visit from the  Aussie Quick Quilters team and it was a very busy day which was enjoyed by all our members.

This month we had a pop up shop from Foxes Cottage with the lovely Lucille in attendance and also a visit from our friendly Stratford Quilting Group, so once again was a very busy day.

The show n tell theme this month was to bring along the latest community quilts completed. Most were made up from the stash from a deceased club  member, Heather McLeod..

Donna made the quilt and also the cushions from left over material.

Two community quilts from Veronica,  top one from a jelly roll and the other is called Monkey Pox.

This one is called Pomegranate and is a community quilt by Frances

Frances made this one so she could play with "quilt as you go". Used a very old UFO as the backing (top photo)

This was a block of the month and Maureen won the blocks from Capital Quilters.

Maureen named this one Rainbow Connection.  she is working through her quilt tops, still has lots in her drawers!
