The theme for July was Stars.
Flowers In My Garden, by Pauline Walton, not quite stars but......close.
Christmas Tree Skirt by Kim Thornton. Always wanted to make a tree skirt and she found the pattern and found it was a learning curve to join diamonds.
Stars and Squares by Lesley McFarlane which was made in 2010 from a pattern.
A scrap quilt by Gail Jory. She started it with a friend to use up their scraps. Gail is in the process of making smaller stars for the border.
One by Liz and was a Kiwiquilters block swap in 2019. the pattern was on pintrest.
Another by Liz, Black & White with a touch of colour, and was a BOM from Aimees Homestead.
Carol Burgess made this Star. She stayed with a friend in Paeroa and did a class there. It was made at least 25 years ago.....

This is a block from Winter Solstice Quilt and is traditionally pieced by Belinda Morgan and the pattern is by Quilty Architect.
Star of Shiraz by Morag O'Malley. It is one of the earliest quilts she has made. Hand pieced and part hand quilted. Laura Engel taught her the techniques needed and past onto her a love opf quilting. They met through a Mother's Group 34 years ago. a lovely story.

Helen's 21st Quilt made by Annette Bourne. Was made in 6 weeks for her son's girlfriend from England, 10yrs down the track now his wife. Her Mum washed the quilt and it shrunk! Home to Mum, who unpicked it and had it professionally quilted. beautiful again and going home to England this month.. the things we do for our family......
