July Show n Tell


 We had a mid Christmas day at club on Saturday and here is the festive committee in front on the lovely table that they decorated .

These are the ladies that decorated themselves up to add a bit of Christmas cheer and the winner was Veronica decked in tinsel, hat and coat.
This quilt was made by Veronica and is a Tech College Old Boys Supporters Quilt and she wraps her self around this quilt while watching her Grandson play hockey.  It is a mile a minute quilt.
Cecile Franconie Quilt, by Diane Harries.   It is made up of 3,000 hexies, 300 flowers and 31 diamonds, all hand pieced and hand quilted. A real master piece.

These two quilts  were mystery quilts by Laundry Basket.  Top quilt was made by Frances who added her own boarder and the bottom quilt is by Veronica.
This was a mystery quilt by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts and was made by Frances.  Was going to be a quilt for her Great Grandaughter but her mother didn't really like it!
The name of this quilt is God's Eye. and was made by Frances. It was quilt as you go technique and was from one the books in our library.  She made it and completed it in 3 weeks!
By Maureen Little and is a Edyta Sitars mystery quilt and is a fitting backing for the bottom quilt "A visit to Vancouver Island"
"A Visit to Vancouver Island" by Maureen Little.  I was strolling around and I came across a Patchwork Shop and bought the centre panel.  The outside border was fabric purchased by Heather on one of her trips. Nice Memories.

"The New Baby" by Maureen Little.  I am working through my donated blocks. This quilt top was originally made by Frances and the top photo is the back.

These 4 little quilts are by Maureen and it was time to work on smaller projects.  they will be donated to the hospital, but i intend to make more, its so much easier and just as much fun.
This baby quilt is by Rosie Neilson and is for her first baby Neilson Great Grandchild.

Sashiko Geisha Girl by Lesley McFarlane. Finished at the last COQ Retreat 2024 and she is very p;leased how it has turned out.  Photo top is the back.
African Safari by Mary Sammons. Was a panel from Fox's Cottage and is for her Grandson.

This fun looking quilt is by Donna Bradley and is a picnic rug for Howard's new car.
